Fellow Sartans:
Can you believe that it has been almost 20 years since we (the coolest and most memorable graduating class in St. Pius history) graduated from St. Pius X High School? It really is hard to imagine that 20 years can go by that fast, but nonetheless here we are into the future and all grown up (well sort of). So believe it or not, the time has come for us to go back to 1984, for a nostalgic weekend at least, to celebrate our 20-YEAR REUNION!! Reunion plans are underway, so don’t miss this great opportunity to come back and renew “old” friendships and mingle with other classmates that you may not have known so well back in 1984. You might also have a chance to visit with some of our teachers as well. We have a great weekend planned, so please make time to come and share old memories and to make new ones. It just won’t be the same without you! The Reunion weekend will get started on Friday night, July 16, 2004, with a casual “get reacquainted” Happy Hour at Q-Bar in the Old Town Sheraton Hotel. On Saturday, you can either attend a picnic/zoo event (be sure to bring your families) or a golf outing (for all levels of golfers). Then the “Big Event” will be on Saturday evening at the Albuquerque Country Club and will include a dinner buffet, Coach Tybor’s famous slide show, and a DJ hosted dance party with a “footloose” dance contest (just kidding about the contest, it won’t actually be judged). To conclude the weekend festivities, we’d like to invite everyone to attend the noon Sunday Mass at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande for a final opportunity to say your farewells. We look forward to seeing you for this memorable and fun-filled Reunion. You will have a great time so don’t miss out! If you cannot attend the reunion, we still want to hear from you, so either write or email us. See you in July!!!! Your Reunion Committee |
