Dear Matadors,

It was a time when we were building lifelong friendships. We were battling our way out of Wilson Stadium for games, hoping for the best parking spots in “Senior Lot,” and trekking our way uphill to Yucca. We even chanted “S.S.S.E.N.I.I.I.O.R . . . SENIORS RULE” during the assemblies and enjoyed the perks of off campus lunch. It is hard to believe that 10 years have passed since we last called ourselves Matadors. OH yes, many things have changed since the days of Nirvana and Boyz II Men. We may have grown up, but we hope we haven’t grown out of tradition.

Your reunion committee, in conjunction with Blast from the Past Reunions, have been working diligently to put together our once-a-decade celebration. They have planned a variety of activities for our class and our families to relive past glories, find old friends, look at where we all ended up, and create new memories.

Our reunion will be back in the Land of Enchantment on the weekend of June 21st, 2008. On the evening of the 21st we will gather at the Embassy Suites downtown– (which wasn’t there when we graduated) for a wonderful night of food, music, and reminiscing.

We hope you can make it this summer – we look forward to seeing everyone, and hope for a great turnout from the class of ‘98. If you have any questions, contact Blast from the Past at 1-877-407-4747 or party@blastreunions.com. Or, please contact one of the committee members. We only get together like this every 10 years . . . Don’t miss out – it won’t be the same without you!

Until June,
Your 1998 SHS Reunion Committee
Aimee Wyatt, Valerie Burkett, Mary Beth Skarsgard, Deziree Hardin, Natalie Frasure, and Megan Kulju
