Ten years ago we were: Seniors…Monarchs…maneuvering our way out of Wilson Stadium parking lot…chanting S-S-S-E-N-I-I-I-O-R-S, S-E-N-I-O-R-S, Seniors Rule! (or something like that)…playing on or cheering for our favorite Manzano team…running to class before that last bell rang …trying to make it to school by 7:45am (wow, that’s early)…suffering from “senioritis”…celebrating Manzano’s 35th year in existence… I could go on, but you remember…

It sure has flown by. In fact, it seems not so long ago that we were just beginning our four-year stretch at Manzano High School as freshmen. Boy didn’t we think we were big stuff when we made it to “Seniorhood.” I’m sure a lot has changed in your lives since then and, speaking of, so has our school! Although a few faces remain the same, one being Mr. Whalen, MHS has taken on a whole new look—and the students look so young! Walking through the halls sure brought back a lot of memories. Let’s relive some of those old memories and get reacquainted with some faces of the past. Join us this summer for a family picnic and later a dinner and dance at the Hyatt Regency downtown. Blast from the Past Reunions has been hard at work putting together a fun celebration for us on Saturday, July 16. Specifics on times, locations and cost are here, so take a look and take a minute to send in your RSVP by mail or email. You won’t want to miss out on seeing old friends, swapping life stories and creating new memories. If you have any questions, you can contact Blast from the Past Reunions at (505) 897-4747, 1-877-407-4747 or email: party at blastreunions.com.

See you this summer!
