Remember the bad hair days we call the Seventies? Remember the Brady bunch and Watergate? Awesome MHS basketball teams and Mr. Doherty? Halter tops and bell-bottoms? Walking on earth shoes and running on empty?

Come relive those memories with the folks who loved you despite your bad hair at the Manzano High School Reunion for classes 1973 and 1974. Why a reunion for both classes you ask? Probably because the class of ‘73 was an apathetic bunch of old slackers and didn’t organize their reunion when they should have. But sometimes things just work out for the best and now we get to see our friends from both years.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to reacquaint with old friends, and we do mean old. We’ve ordered name tags with extra-large print for those of you who now wear reading glasses and Inna Godda da Vida from the DJ for those of you who could never dance.

Our reunion will be back in the Land of Enchantment, in Albuquerque, on the weekend of August 6th & 7th, 2004. On the evening of the 7th we will gather at the tallest building in the State, the Hyatt Regency Downtown – which wasn’t there when we graduated, for a wonderful night of food, music and reminiscing. Your reunion organizing committee will communicate to you other events as they are planned.

So please, mark your calendars and start making arrangements to be in Albuquerque on the weekend of our 30-year reunion, 31 for some of us. It is going to be a blast from the past and the more the merrier. It won’t be the same without you – so be there!
