Wow! Ten years have already come and gone since we were on top at La Cueva. It seems like only yesterday when we were celebrating graduation – and now it’s almost time for our 10-year reunion. Your reunion committee, in conjunction with Blast from the Past Reunions, has been working since the fall to put together our once-a-decade celebration. They have planned a variety of activities for our class and our families to relive past glories, find old friends, and look at where we all ended up. For those of you who have wandered afar, this is a good chance to re-visit the Land of Enchantment and once again view the beauty of the Sandias. It is hard to believe that 10 years have passed since we left the halls at 7801 Wilshire Blvd. For those of you that left Albuquerque, you can’t even see the school from Paseo Del Norte anymore. Shopping centers and homes have hidden “The Cave”. Mrs. Griffith and Mr. Pompa are no longer at the school. They have gone on to bigger and better things. They have even won a couple more football and baseball State Championships since then. Much has changed, but it’s time to relive some of the old days. So don’t miss this chance to reminisce about such joys along with a lot of other great stories and see where folks have moved, who has changed jobs, added family members, become famous, saved the world, and so on. We hope you can make it to Albuquerque this summer – we look forward to seeing everyone in June. We will have some great times, and it’ll be nice to show your current families the old stomping grounds. Saturday will entail a reception, dancing, and cocktails (a necessity for this event). If you have any questions, contact Blast from the Past or any of the committee members. Don’t miss out – it won’t be the same without you!
