1990 Cibola High School graduates,

Well, it’s that time again; time to dust off those yearbooks, contact old friends, and join your Cibola High School classmates to celebrate our 20 year reunion.

Your Reunion Committee, along with Blast from the Past Reunions, has been busy setting the stage for you and your family to join the fun. With better timing and a much lower price than our 10 year reunion we hope it makes it easier for you to attend! Don’t miss this great opportunity to come back and see your “old friends” and mingle with people that you may not have known so well. We have a great weekend planned, so please make time to come and share old memories and make new ones.

The Main event is set for Saturday Evening on July 24th at The Embassy Suites Hotel. There will be food (hors d' oeuvres and desserts), dancing and lots and lots of photos! (So don’t forget your camera).  Book a room and join your friends for a free breakfast at the hotel in the mornings and free cocktails in the evenings with your hotel stay.  In order to keep costs down, we will not be having a sit down dinner. Instead, we will have hot & cold hors d'oeuvres and a Viennese dessert bar.

The room rate at the Embassy Suites is $119 per night (plus tax). This rate includes a full cooked-to-order breakfast, free cocktails in the Atrium between 5-7 p.m., and free parking. The reservation code for our class is CHS. Call 1-800-EMBASSY or go to www.albuquerque.embassysuites.com to make a reservation. The cut-off date for this rate is July 2, 2010.

A family picnic will be held on Saturday afternoon from 11am-1pm at Haynes Park in Rio Rancho.  The committee is asking for donations ($5-10 per family) to cover the cost of renting the pavilion area.  The picnic will be bring-your-own food, drink, chairs, blankets, etc.   so plan to bring your family (or lots of pictures), invite classmates from other years and come enjoy a few hours in the park with family and friends.

There will also be a pre-reunion Friday night mixer on July 23rd that only those registered for the Main event will be invited to via email the week of the reunion.  The committee will be asking for donations at the venue to go toward some appetizers that can be shared by all.

We look forward to seeing you in July and we know you will have a great time, but if you cannot attend the reunion we still want to hear from you. Please take the time to either write or e-mail us through Blast from the Past Reunions and fill us in on what you have been doing since we last saw you and you will be included in this year’s memory book along with all the others!

Reunion weekend events:

Friday night: There will be a pre-reunion Friday night happy hour (starting at 7:00pm) that only those registered for the Main event will be invited to via email the week of the reunion. 

Saturday: A family picnic will be held on Saturday afternoon from 11am-1pm at Haynes Park in Rio Rancho.  The committee is asking for donations ($5-10 per family) to cover the cost of renting the pavilion area.  Bring your own food, drink, chairs, blankets, etc.

Saturday night:  the main event...hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, DJ/dancing, class photo, etc. at the Embassy Suites Hotel from 7:00pm-12:00am.

Reunion Memory CD:  
A reunion memory CD will be produced that will include photos from the event, including the group photo, plus any memory book pages that are emailed to Blast from the Past before the reunion.  Use the link on the left as a guide to creating your submission for the memory cd and then mail it to party@blastreunions.com.  The CD can be ordered on-line through the registration link.
