Dear Cibola Classmates of 1987:

While many of you (including those of us arranging this “soiree’”) remain busy professing your disbelief that it has been twenty years (no way!) since we marched away from “THE PIT” and began our lives in the Real World, plans are in the works to celebrate this milestone! So join us and take a walk down memory lane with your ol’ Cougar buddies, “Lean on Me” and don’t let your gray hair, little hair or the fact that you can’t fit into your 501 jeans keep you away!

The weekend of August 10th, 11th, and 12th bring your significant other, your children (or lots of pictures) and spend a weekend with us as we reminisce, swap life stories and reconnect after two decades. Many activities are planned, including a Friday night “ice-breaker” for pre-registered classmates – (we’ll let you know where the week before the reunion), our Saturday night Reunion dinner/dance at the Hyatt Regency downtown, and a Sunday picnic at Haynes Park in Rio Rancho for those who want to spend time co-mingling with the families of our awesome Class of 1987! This proves to be an incredible event for all of us so be “Forever Young” and see how much your fellow Cougars have changed in the past twenty years!!

Hail Cibola High School,
Our Cougar stands as proud as he can be.
We will fight and never give up!
Until we reach a Cougar victory…
GO! FIGHT! WIN!
Go, Cibola Cougars, with loyalty and spirit all the way,
We’re going to win now and show them all how,
The mighty Brown and Gold is here to stay.

We hope to see you in August and rediscover that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Warmly,

Your 1987 Cibola Reunion Committee
