Well, it’s that time again; time to dust off those year books, contact old friends, and join your Cibola High School classmates to celebrate. While many of you remain busy professing your disbelief that it has been twenty years since we tossed up our caps at the Pit and began our lives in the Real World, some of us have faced reality and have made plans to celebrate! Don’t let your gray hair, lack of hair or the fact that you can’t fit into your 501 jeans keep you away from this summer’s celebration.
Your Reunion Committee, along with Blast from the Past Reunions, have been busy setting the stage for you and your family to join the fun. Don’t miss this great opportunity to come back and see your “old friends” and mingle with people that you may not have known so well. We have a great weekend planned, so please make time to come and share old memories and make new ones. It just wouldn’t be the same without you!
The party is set to begin on Saturday July 17th at Albuquerque’s Downtown Hyatt. There will be food and dancing and the night can continue as long as you wish in any of Downtown’s great establishments within walking distance from the hotel. Book a room and join your friends for Sunday breakfast at any of the nearby restaurants and then pack a lunch for a picnic near our old stomping grounds at Rio Rancho’s Haynes Park. Bring your family (or lots of pictures), invite classmates from other years or just enjoy an afternoon of relaxation (because we just don’t recover from a late night like we used to).
We look forward to seeing you and we know you will have a great time, but if you cannot attend the reunion we still want to hear from you. Please take the time to either write or e-mail us through Blast from the Past Reunions and fill us in on what you have been doing since we last saw you and you will be included in this year’s memory book along with all the others!
